I had a great experience at Big Al's Pizzeria in Maywood. The pepperoni and brisket pizzas are my favorites! Both are packed with amazing flavors. The brisket, with its smoky flavor, and the halal pepperoni, which is a rare find. Neither of these options will disappoint you. While the prices are a little on the high side for a takeout pizza, the gourmet quality makes it totally worth it. It's hard to find pizzas like these anywhere else. The service is friendly, and the dipping sauces add a unique spin. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area for something delicious and unique!
This is one of my go- to spots for pizza. Prices are a little higher than an average pizza but it's always worth it. The carne asada pizza is my favorite! I appreciate that they are never stingy with toppings. The pizza does come spicy, so for anyone that is sensitive to spice.. this is your warning! Portions are always big enough so you'll have leftovers-- but trust me, you won't have any because the pizza is THAT good

Probably one of the best pizza places I've ever had. The birria pizza was life changing and so flavorful. And the wings too were amazing. It was a little out of our way from where we lived in la but I would definitely make the drive again.

Each one has its unique flavors and never disappoints. I've also tried the Brisket Sandwich, and it was fantastic. **A Few Drawbacks ** The only negatives are the prices and the area. The pizzas, wings, and sandwiches are quite pricey, so I usually save this spot for special occasions. The neighborhood isn't the nicest, but it's manageable. They did expand the seating area, so there's plenty of room to dine in now. **In Summary: Delicious but Pricey ** Overall, Big Al's Pizzeria remains a top choice for halal pizza and wings. The food is delicious, and the expanded seating is a plus. The prices and the location are the only downsides, but it's still worth it for a special treat.
If you ever visit LA, be sure to eat here !!! The food was exceptional :) All thanks to my sister-in-law who suggested me this eatery! Their flavours/sauces were delectable and most of all it was HALAL !!! DOUBLE YAYYYY!!!! As you can see, we went all in and ordered like crazy. My husband got their star dish- BBQ beef brisket. He went crazy after his first bite. So perfectly charred flavour and juicy !! Literally mouth- watering !!! I don't eat beef but I just gave in and took a bite ;) Their Buffalo Ranch chicken Pizza was so wholesome, I can't even begin to tell you guys how satisfying it was. So rich in flavour!! And I've just realised that I've emphasised on the word "FLAVOUR" a lot of times now ;) Also got their Hot sweet n spicy one pound chicken wings and I'm in love. Cooked to perfection! Juicy, tender and the sauce was something else !!!! This is going to be our go to place every time we visit LA now !!! Went in on a weekday so no crowd. Got our order in 20mins & a free drink if we checked in on Yelp!!!
